With over 30 years experience in grape growing, the Borjón Family knows a thing or two about producing premium wine grapes. A vineyard service company that began in the early 90’s quickly escalated into becoming Borjón Vineyard & Labor Services (BVLS). A company that would oversee the production of many Amador County Vineyards. BVLS currently manages and produces grapes for prestigious wineries from both Napa County and Amador County. Turley Wine Cellars, Leaf & Vine, Rombauer, Fiddletown Cellars, Story Winery, La Chertosa, and Borjón Winery are just a few of the vintners that graciously welcome the quality that BVLS provides.

At a very young age, Isy decided to take over the family business, his ability to absorb and retain information has made him to be a very sought after viticulturist. The belief that great wine starts in the Vineyard is crucial for producing world-class wines and allows Borjón Winery to produce some of Northern California’s finest wines.

How We Grow

We have a different approach in the world of grape growing than the majority of the grape growers in Amador County. We like to consider ourselves more winegrowers than grape growers in our everyday vineyard operations and look at the grapes from a winemaker’s perspective. With the thought that great wine begins with great grapes, we work to produce a standard of grape that is above the rest.
